i enjoyed his performance. I normally don't like holding, but if it is done right, not too excessively and the fighter is outlanding his opponent than it's cool.

Mosely did alot of clinching against Margarito, and that is one of my favorite beatdowns to watch.

The difference between what Molina did and what Hopkins typically does, and this is not to say I'm a fan of Hopkins at all, is that Molina did some very blatant fouling in the fight right in front of the ref in plain sight and wasn't warned or had points deducted to stop it.

You can't even compare Molina to Hopkins, the style while both awkward and rough is not even similar at all. Hopkins uses angles and his shoulder and forearms to control a fighter, he knows where the ref is and takes advantage of it. Still cheating, but he does it in an old school way. Molina just bum rushed in, pushed, held, wrestled, moved Kirklands arms, hit on the break, pushed Kirklands hands down then punched, etc. Nothing like Hopkins.

..and again.. Ward does actually fight on the inside.

The only thing you can say about all 3 is they are awkward styles. Ward has put on his fair share of stinkers, and I'm not a big Ward fan because of it.

I liked the Molina vs Kirkland fight, except the ending. Molina has an hit and grab style, but it's well made with lots of movement and punch variation (unlike jab/grab like Ruiz). If you're a featherfisted fighter with a good workrate, you want to fight like that. The Kirkland/Wolf tandem is always interesting to see. Seeing her yelling BALLS TO THE WALLS before the 10th was amazing.

    ward is a dirty fighter

Hopkins is one of the dirtiest fighters if not THE dirtiest fighter out there

yet these guys are called "crafty" and are considered top p4p material

simple fact is if Molina was american and Kirkland wasn't you'd all be screaming and crying about a BULL**** stoppage. WHICH IT WAS.

MOLINA WAS CLEARLY WINNING, but for the sake of more money and potential bigger fights for Kirkland, a bull**** ABSOLUTE BULL**** stoppage was called.

    Boxing is dead.

LOOOL. I am not surprised I see a ****** like you post crap like this here. usually I laugh about your klitschko hate comments but this time you brought it to a new level. "molina was aweful...disgrace to boxing". LOOL. you ****ing punk ass get the **** out of here. Molina schooled Kirkland like Hopkins schooled Kelly Pavlik a few years ago.
was nothing dirty about it, Ward and Hopkins and John Ruiz clinch ten times as much as Molina did in that fight. **** off ur a ****ing disgrace even to this site.

Lol. If the cornerman steps into the ring it's an automatic DQ. Everything went according to the rulebook. I had money on Molina and even i know that. Your tripping.

Cornerman went into the ring after the bell sounded though. it was a complete bull**** stoppage. the ref was just trying to give Kirkland a win and thats the bottom line.

The rules state that if a fighter is getting a ten count after the bell has sounded the fight is technically still in progress, and a fighters cornerman entering the ring during the ten count causes an immediate DQ.

The ref and commision are not to blame, THE CORNERMAN IS!

How can you call yourself a boxing fan when you don't even understand the rules?

If your serious than you must a be a pretty new fan. They say a fighter cannot be saved by the bell before damn near EVERY fight.

If you really didn't know that then that's ok, we were all new fans at some point. But don't try to argue that the ending of the fight was corrupt when the truth is that it all went according to the book. The cornerman is to blame.

You learned something, how about that.
