What do you guys think? This is a tough one- I think styles may favor Molina-- I could be wrong... Thoughts?
I'm excited about this one !!!! Carlos schools him for four or five rounds, but gets caught soon after. Just a thought .
Molina cant school Kirkland. School is out and it's time to go to work. Molina is not gonna roll over for Kirkland so Im looking for an exciting and brutal fight.
Molina by UD is the outcome I'm favouring towards. However I am open to the fact Kirkland could stop him late, but personally I feel the hype job gets exposed for a skilless slugger he is.
I think Molina puts Kirkland in a world of trouble but ends up getting stopped in the middle rounds. Either winning wouldn't be a surprise to me though. I see Kirkland as someone who could either lose miserably to any top Junior Middleweight or win spectacularly, depending on which Kirkland turns up.
Great fight and 2 of my favorite guys at 154 Kirkland a scary puncher who got beat and then everyone wrote him off and he got sent to the wolves vs Angulo where everyone wrote him off and he pummeled Angulo Molina is one of my favorites he fights everyone and everyone and fights them tough and to debated decisions like Chavez and Lara, he isnt a physical specimen or a tremendous athlete or even a great puncher but his technique and composure are incredible the guy can box Kirkland is explosive and dangerous and doesnt seem to gas so its up to Molina to handle the pressure be able to take the punch and be able to keep a high pace I really like both fighters and it will be hard to pick either Kirkland is too much for Molina or Molina just out foxes him to a late stoppage but more likely a points win
molina points He's a bit like burns, he gets underrated because he doesn't have the speed or power but what he does have is a decent chin good defence and great fundamentals - has the heart to back it up aswell
I'll be routing for Kirkland but James; while a powerful puncher and possessing a warriors heart, will not be able to catch Molina. You can't kill what you can't catch. I still find it interesting they're putting Kirkland in with someone like Molina. Kirkland has a punchers chance against anyone he fights but he's a crude brawler and will lose to boxers 99% of the time sadly. I say Molina by dominating UD and a very boring fight.
Was just going to ask about Molina's chin:good If you compare speed of Kirkland and Molina, is there a significant gap?
hard to make predictions for a Kirkland fight based on his chin and lack of defense. either his opponents getting KTFO or he is
Interesting- I've kind of felt this way-- although I believe Molina is the 'underdog' looking at the odds.
