The kid is done. CC was the first real opponent the kid has faced. Good but not great with plenty of flaws. What Molitor dislplayed was the lack of confidence and courage that real champs/fighters have. This something that you cant teach and the kid doesnt have. He was "SCARED SHITLES". I will spell it out ---- the kid doesnt have the balls. You cant fix that.
truth listen to caballero before the fight: This opponent is nothing special to me. He is average. But this unification is special because I will be only the second Panamanian to do that after Roberto Duran. Up on the podium, I told Molitor that I am going to break his face.
I'm sorry this happened. But Molitor isn't hyped. He's just a C+/B- fighter on his best night. Good enough to win a title, not good enough to keep it and become a true name. I'm really sorry. This happens to most "champions" from Trevor Berbick to other names we forget because they were just passing time until they met their doom from a B or B+ fighter.
Molitor is a joke and I admit that I bought into the hype by what guys here were posting but never again.:nono
A B-level guy is what I consider Sturm to be. Vasquez and Marquez are A+ or A++. I never called Molitor a bum, etc. But he's a titlist and not a serious champ.
Im serious. Never heard of the kid. Looked up that he is Canadian. That explains a lot. Im not surprised at all that Caballero would be able to KO him. He is only the 3 or 4th best Super Bantamweight out there.
To me the basic issue was he was scared of Caballero and just doesn't have the power to deal with those at the top of the tier. That's the fundamental problem. You can't fight guys at this level and expect not to get hit, you have to have enough power to earn their respect, which Molitor simply doesn't have.
