please dont believe the rumors. Vazquez speaks broken english. That should not be misunderstood for slurring. In spanish Israel is fine. Roach does not speak spanish... judge for yourself..

this interview is in broken english and spanish. Look how clear he sounds.. both interviews before the Vazquez-Marquez 3

Yes that is true. it's a knee jerk reaction. Its more a style thing then people are making it out to be. CC is huge, and steve can't punch. Every other top guy in this Division is a puncher or a boxer puncher. Just from a styles point of view you'd have to re-evaluate things.

CC has been TKOed before, but tonight it was clear he was going to be able to do whatever he wanted to and not pay for it.

But to be honest I'd give him a dam good chance. But I'd have to go back and look at vids of these guys before jumping to conclusions.

Roach recently (since Manny hit it big really) has begun to develop this strange sort of idea that HE is the star of the show and should be speaking more. I like trainers who are seen and not heard personally.

If you had asked me a week ago, I would have given the same answer. Marquez doesn't have a good chin for 122 and he would get KOed eventually, even though he'd outbox Caballero every single second of the fight. Vasquez isn't nearly as much of a boxer, and he wouldn't be able to impose his physicality on Caballero. Lopez still KOs Caballero within 5 though.

Very much so. Caballero is no hero, Molitor just fought a bad fight and was knocked out. There are holes in the way Caballero fights that top quality fighters can exploit. Money on Vasquez and Marquez to both win, probably by knockout.

Yes you're right, the similarities that I noted probably come more from the fact that they are tall guys..

So you admit your basing your prediction on tonight's result. It's always important to consider the quality of opposition, and Molitor isn't half as accomplished or experienced as either Vasquez or Marquez. Not only that, but both of those guys arguably hit harder than Caballero, who was up against a fairly light hitter tonight.

Personally, I think it's crazy to bet against Vasquez and Marquez in that fight, but each to his own.
