It didn't take long. I told you gents that them legit 154 pounders is gonna chopping at the bit to step up on Canelo. He still has millions of fans and can generate a good payday for some fighters, plus his scalp is in demand since Floyd exposed him. You know Lara wants a shot and them Charlo boys will be a force to reckon with in two years or less. If Canelo wants to stay relevant he needs to start busting up the real 154 pounders. Myself, I think he is gonna take the Mayweather money and fold.
You're one of those ******s who on one hand discredits the guy on the losing end and then turns around and tries to hype the fighter on the winning end! ESB status quo.
Whoa partner, You got this twisted, I discredited his ass before he lost and I have always gave Mayweather his props because he deserves and earned them. What I'm talking about now is what I made reference to in earlier posts. Those legit 154 pounders is howling for Canelos ass FRESH MEAT!:yep
So Canelo was another in a long line of bums but Floyd deserves high props for beating these guys. Yeah, I was way off
Canelo should tell him winner takes all that way we know Molina is not just in it for a payday. We'll see if Molina is that confident to beat Canelo.
i don't think floyd exposed canelo, floyd makes everyone look bad. now if molina schools canelo now we're talkin. if trout would have beat down canelo the way he beat down cotto then i would be right there with you saying canelo is a bum. we will see how canelo looks in his next fight against quality opposition before i start calling him a bum.
Molina would make Canelo look five times worse than Mayweather did. I'm not saying Molina would beat him. I'm just saying, if people thought it didn't flatter Canelo stylistically being opposite Mayweather, Molina is a whole different kettle of fish... Bottom line, unless he's really horny for another belt he should ignore this high-risk low-reward (and even if he bypasses the risk for the reward, it could possibly be detrimental to his image and future marketability from sheer unwatchable tediousness) call-out.
It's not so much the lack of his physical attributes but the mental makeup of Canelo was put in perspective. That's one of the things that seasoned fighters look for in younger fighters. It can be exploited and will open up holes for their offense. I never called him a bum but I will say he was hyped up and didn't deliver.
Yeah, considering how bad/lost/amateurish Canelo looked in the Mayweather fight, Molina is used to be the B-side fighter. Even if he lost to Canelo, he'd make Canelo look bad. The last thing Canelo needs is to look bad against another fighter right now. He looked bad for both Trout and Mayweather.
canelo will be a -220+ against molina and rightfully so. carlos is promoted by warriors boxing. canelo is promoted by golden boy promotions. molina does not have the power to ko canelo so alvarez simply has to make it to the final round to secure a decision even if hes outlanded by 60 punches in eight of the twelve rounds.
