I think it's on the undercard of the Trinidad vs Jones fight.

Meehan ranked high. Why would he want to fight someone who won't either give him a big payday or push him higher up the rankings?

Mollo doesn't exactly strike me as a quality fighter, but he is fully capable of being dangerous and throwing bombs to begin with. That's just the thing Golota traditionally has had problems with.

If Andrew can somehow keep his wits about him and ride out the early barrage from Mollo...and make no mistake that's bound to be the gameplan...then Golota can rally and outbox him.

But it's going to be all Mollo in the early going, you'd have to think.

I thought everyone knows that Jan 19th HBO PPV card is for Jones-Trinidad main event.

I could care less about that fight as well, but I did forget that was the date of the Jones/Trinidad fight.

For the record, joecool, I do not like this match-up.

Seems like a bad business move at this stage in the game.

i think old nutcase golota will **** his pants once mollo goes after him.

golota will get dropped early, get up and will turn away and quit.

cause this nutcase has a dog in him.

I agree. Golota needs to survive round 1 and 2. Then he might be fine. If he does, Golota KO 9.

Your a freind of Mikes? Just wondering... :good

Mollo has never faced a fighter the caliber of Golota. The best guy he faced was TOS and he put Mollo to sleep. Wild haymakers may work against tomato cans and amateurs but its not going to work against a big heavyweight with world class skills like Golota. Plus, Golota is motivated and wants to shut this guy up....Golota is coming in like the hunter, not the huntee!!!

    Golota tko5 Mollo

I think if (when) the G Man survives Mollo's wild assed, uncontrolled bum rush, he (Golota) will then proceed to jab and right cross Mollo's swelled, ego filled, head off of his shoulders.

Meaningless? LOL! If Mollo gets past Golota it will be his claim to move to the top, and if Golota wins he'll be in the title mix.

Why would he risk it? A loss against Golota and he's done.
