mosley - de la hoya 1 in the 12th round oscar slipped on some blood and the ref sent both guys to their corners so he can wipe it, the crowd went wild as both fighters looked at each other, raised their hands and smashed their gloves together indicating that 'its on', as the ref says 'time in', there is only something like 40 seconds left of the round the crowd goes wild and both guys just go at it trading blow for blow giving everything they have! man did that give me the chills or what, especially considering both of them were my favourite fighters at the time.
When Sanders kept knocking Wlad to the ground, it was great to see a glass chinned fighter exposed like that.
I don't know about chills, but there were a few live fights where you could feel the electricity in the air. Hamed-Snchez, Toney-Jirov and Vinny Paz's last fight all had had that feeling. Can't imagine what an Ali-Frazier fight would feel like.
mayorga/trinidad,when mayorga was letting himself get hit,me and my mates were going crazy that night
i usually get chills watching anthems and imagining what it must be like being one of the fighters involved in such a huge important fight. the most important fight of there lives and what must be going on thru their heads.. that stuff gives me chills thinking about and watching fighters reactions and emotions..
When Tito finally hit the canvas against Bernard. Oscar and Quartey swinging away at each other. Tommy Hearns driving Cuevas into the canvas with that right hand. On a smaller scale, Miranda sprinting across the ring with seconds to go in the last round trying to KO Allan Green before the final bell.
I love the anthems, even though I'm a Brit when the US anthem is sung sometimes it's amazing, I remember that Ashanti bird sung it once class.
It's gonna be one of those moments next week if Hopkins comes to the ring in his gimp costume against Calzaghe.
