Damn foo why you using the,Chavez fight? Actually Floyd got tagged many times in that one and got forced to go toe to toe with Chavez. And by the time Erik fought Raheem he was done. He was clonking Raheem in the last round literally running after him. Can you imagine that, running from a shot legend? Thats Raheems claim to fame. You know would bust that clown in his prime don't be mad cuz Erik was smaller than Spadafora he was bustin up Floyd. No shame in getting owned by a great like Morales.

I agree with some things here and disagree with others. True, It's hard to predict how he would do because he hasn't faced many quality/skilled/prime boxers but it has nothing to do with aggressive boxers. As a matter of fact, the 3 fighters who have given Floyd the most trouble, have been Castillo, DLH and Cotto, all who attacked him aggressively. You need to make Floyd fight. You need to be aggressive but with intelligence. You can't try to outbox a master boxer, unless you have similar qualities and I don't see them anywhere (Whitaker). Mayweather does NOT like aggressive boxers. He rather fight a slick boxer, so it can be a clean fight and he can look pretty. He doesn't like to get hit. Which is why he ducked Mragarito, who IMO he would have beat but just wanted to avoid that type of war. Morales might have the best chance because of his size but Mayweather would probably beat them all. Not just because he is a skilled boxer but he would have the physical advantages.

Well yea, no ****. 135 even David Diaz beat Morales bro. I got no beef with you you think that, thats fine then. But like I said, Chico as great puncher he was wasnt in the same league as MAB or Erik. They would of gotten technical with Floyd. Whatever the result, no way in hell would it be a cakewalk. No way.

Of course it wouldn't be easy. May couldn't even stop Marquez the first time, when Marquez was debuting at that weight. The weight was a major factor. Not saying Marquez would have won but it's hard to stop these guys because they have the warrior mentality and are intelligent. Mayweather wont engage or take sufficient risks t finish them. He will only do enough to win.

People want to pay homage to legendary fighters and I get that, but if you go too far along that path, you start selling Mayweather short. None of these guys have anything to do more than trouble Floyd in spots.

Someone mentioned Chavez and Augustus, but while their efforts were noble and they landed shots here and there, they got their asses thoroughly kicked. That was the worst beating Augustus ever took in a boxing ring, and Chavez was getting so badly hammered when the corner stopped the fight that his only threat was to Floyd's brittle hands.

P4P and this is at least a worthy discussion. But at 130? With Barrera and EM already having moved up several times, over the hill, and past their best weight?

Was Barrera even that good at 130? His best performance there, apart from a Morales return bout, was probably the Robbie Peden fight. He struggled badly with Rocky Juarez in the next fight, ran from Pac all night in the rematch there, fought decently but was clearly beaten by JMM, and knocked Fana out on PPV. What did he accomplish there that would even make this fight palatable?

This **** gets ridiculous sometimes. :verysad

LOL at 6 pages of discussion. It is a no brainer pick. Floyd is bigger, faster, smarter, stronger and would such an one sided beating on all three that is not even funny. Those people who thinks Erik have a chance, should stay away from gambling. If they would've met at 130 the odds would've 5-1 Floyd.

JMM could barely hit Floyd for 12 rounds against a long laid off/out of prime Floyd who is not nearly as elusive as he was at 130 and Erik Morales is going to beat Floyd?

The Barrera aspect is just plain idiotic. He was pretty much done by the time he reached 130.

I don't get this place sometimes. Objectivity to the point of stupidity.

At 130lbs....Mayweather was untouchable. All would be destroyed with Morales being brutally stopped.

It would be difficult to even think that Morales can win 2 rounds.

God youre so dumb and irritating. Chavez took massive punishment for any success he had. Most of his punches were caught on Floyds arms and shoulders and he was being blistered with clean counters as to why his corner stopped the fight.

The same Chavez who 3 years later ran Morales ragged around the ring and had Morales breathing out his ass in a much closer fight that without the knockdown a was a pretty even fight. You can see the difference in ability between Morales and Floyd.

Floyd could simply take it to a different level. Chavez was buckling Morales in the 12th. He didnt see the 12 against Mayweather. You think he hit Mayweather look at Morales face after Chavez lol.

Seriously your schtick is repetitive and boring.

If Chavez was having so much success then his corner would not be throwing the towel. Chavez was charging and getting lit up. Not masterclass, good lord. Bozo needs to go back blahering about some boxing strats that would not work in real life.
