If he fought Khan people would cry if he fought Brook people would cry if he fought Porter people would cry if he fought Thurman people would cry if he fought GGG at 154 people would cry. It doesn't matter who he fights because people will cry about it. So he said **** em I might fight Berto next. The guy has nothing left to prove and anything else is just gravy it's not like any of those guys at 147 can beat him anyway and they don't do anything for his legacy and he won't get any credit for the win anyway. Berto isn't a bad fighter he's just nowhere Mayweathers level and poses very little threat to him.

Mayweather does consistently fight top fighters and he'll sell a ton of ppvs no matter who he fights. So I guess there's nothing wrong with him facing Berto(if that fight does happen).

The problem is that Mayweathers only fights 1-2 times a year. With him fighting so little you'd hope he'd do a better job at making them count than wasting one on a mismatch like Berto.
