Too be fair, DLH-Pac happened during the worst economic times in U.S. in many generations. PPV sales were going to considerably less no matter who fought. On top of that, DLH was considered aged and yet everyone thought it was a complete mismatch fight and DLH would walk all over Manny.

If you adjust both their figures for each of their fights to account for the state of the world economy at the time, what point in their career they were at, and how extensive the promotion was for each fight, I'm guessing they'd come up pretty even. If Pac had fought Mosley I have no doubt it would've done 1.5M buys

You won't see 2 millions buys in a horrible economy and internet piracy culture.

Sad, pathetic state of ESB when adults or pretneding to be adults are bickering on PPV numbers!!!

    Bunch of accountants............

So waht if Mayweather did 10 million? Are the Floydettes going to the negotiation table and argue his case?

The ppv numbers dictate who deserves more. Floyd deserves more. 55-45 is more than reasonable. Arum would give Floyd 60-40 had PAc's ppv numbers been better...maybe 70-30.

Pac's fights are so boring to watch because you know he has some kind of invented advantage. floyd is easily the more watchable fighter to watch lol... I watch real challenges, not fixed fights...

I love to watch people argue against hard data. All you have to do is look at the PPV between the fighters that they both fought to see who the bigger draw is. You hear the lame excuse about the sad state of money, but both guys have been fighting under that state and Floyd is still and did still do better numbers.

HOWEVER those numbers should mean NOTHING to the fans, because WE shouldnt care which fighter gets more money. And too be honest I dont think that true fans really do give a ****. Its the fanboys that only push the interest of one fighter rather then the interest of boxing. I admitt that I too have been caught in the who is the biggest draw from time to time, but its more of that argument factor then the I give a **** factor. Its like the times that I defended Judah, Tyson and Hopkins fighters that I detest, simply because people make **** up about them. None of that money will line my pockets so really I could care less.
