  1. Telegraph reports Manny Pacquaio and Floyd Mayweather Jnr have agreed to AU$320 million to step in the ring in May this year at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

My money is on Mayweather KO. I just have a feeling he's going to bring out something special.

    False report!!!

2 different articles over at the scene... Showtime deny it in 1 article, Arum states it needs more work still...

Guess it dosnt mean it is on or off 1 way or the other....
I expect it to be announced within a fortnight... (1 way or the other)
I expect if its not made around the end of this month Arum will make Pac v a Khan,Rios or similar... Id like him to make Pac v Brook in uk if no Mayweather, n screw the rest (even tho i read they want Pac at 140lb unless Mayweather)

Its been "under negoiation" far too long...

I have maintained since first mention of this fight years ago it wouldn't get made and see no reason to change that view.

Credible? I guess we will find out in due course.

Just received an Instant Message from an insider: The "Pacquiao vs. Mayweather Superfight" was signed today by both combatants.

I believe it, I believe the source, and I believe we have a fight. Still, knowing Floyd's reluctance and ducking ability and agility, one must reserve slight doubt. Very slight.

According to my source, sponsorship deals are already being sold. The fight will be announced officially on Thursday or Friday. Pay per view price will be a hundred dollars. A rematch would be scheduled for November. Major companies are lining up to be a part of the biggest prizefight in boxing history.

This time it looks like we finally have the Super Bowl Superfight of Boxing History. Pacquiao vs. Mayweather will change the image of the sport. Boxing will enter a new era of excitement and electricity, like when Muhammad Ali and Mike Tyson dominated the entire sports world.

It's time boxing fans, it's time to Fasten your seatbelts.

    Stay tuned...

Agreed 100% these two have missed the boat as far as I'm concerned , 5 years back I would have payed STRONG money to PPV this fight but my interest has been dampened by their constant f ucking about and will now only watch it it I get a s tream , Watching GGG is where it's at these days boxing like everything else moves on eventually .

Just out of interest who would PPV Floyd v Pac down under if it cost say under 100 Au$ ?
