Just wondering if GGG would ever contemplate dropping the 6 pounds and calling Floyd out - surely it would be the fight of the decade. Opinions .

GGG's entire 8 year pro career has been at 160 pounds. Not even sure if he could get down to 154 and even if he did what affect it might have on him.

    PBF is 5'8 and a small 147, Golovkin is 5'11 and a big 160

Not really the right weight division

Beat Money first and you go down as a boxing immortal plus the 25 million payday would be nice. Canelo got down to 152 jumped into the ring at 170.

His already ripped to **** at 160lb, I'm not sure he could drop the 3.5kg without having any effects on his performance. I'm pretty sure Floyds also only fought at 154lb on three occasions, against Alvarez, Cotto and De la Hoya. Sure he may do it again for a weight drained GGG but only because the guys weight drained.

Didn't GGG say somewhere he would come down to 154LB to fight Floyd? take in mind, Floyd only fights the right fighters at the right time for that weight limit. Alavarez was never going to win against Floyds speed and accuracy, neither was Cotto or De La Hoya. Even if GGG could make that weight, i just don't know if Floyd would do it, GGG is a complete different kettle of fish to those he has fought at Light Middleweight. I think the Risk would be to high for the little reward Floyd would get for it compared to the fights against the three fighters in mention.

The problem for GGG now is that he was so impressive in defeating Geale that certainly NOBODY in the 160lb class will even go near him (Cotto included) so he will have trouble cleaning out that weight division . Would love for GGG to take his power up another weight division and clean out Andre Ward , Carl Froch , Sakio Bika Arthur Abraham etc .

The bloke is just an animal and if Soliman has designs on calling him out I will write Solimans last rites .

Well its going to be interesting to see what Soliman is really made of now. He sprouted on that he wants GGG and he was going to be there to call the winner out after the fight but that didn't happen. Falling short of calling him a liar, he may have had other commitments that prevented him from being at the fight to call out GGG.

Yet, the next round of talks regarding this bout are going to be very hard for Soliman to side step, we will soon see if Sam is a man of his word, or like the drug incident in Germany, lies through his teeth.

K2 Promotions have stated today that they will attempt to make the fight with Soliman happen and will Pursue a Sam Soliman unification bout. IF sam agrees, then we could see this bout as early as October/November.

Soliman will take it for his payday but I hope he visits an undertaker before the bout ......

If Soliman takes the fight you will give him no credit for taking it and claim it is the only money fight out there for him. Same as you did with Geale.

    Heard it all before

Well you tell me then, what other big money fights is there for soliman other than GGG and do you honestly think he stands a chance at defeating GGG? Mundine annihilated Soliman and GGG has 100 times the power of Mundine. Address these points and we shall discuss further. :)

Mundine KO'd Soliman as it was at SMW and he caught Sammy with a good (but lucky) punch. The other two fights (also at SMW) were very close and if they fought at MW at any time Sammy would have won with ease as Mundine was only ever good at SMW.

Sammy has fielded a lot of massive offers. E.g, this article accuses Sammy of running scared from Martin Murray!!

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/bo...cused-running-scared-fight-Martin-Murray.html

But yes, we will see if he is a man of his word. He called out GGG and now GGG is calling out him. So lets make it happen!!

Also, you should ease up on your PED talk. The whole thing sounded very fishy to me from the German sides of things. They claimed there was a positive A-sample and jumped the gun and sanction him there an then???!!! But Under the WADA Code you cannot sanction someone until they've been given the right for the B sample to be analysed!!!! Plus there are subsequent appeals rights. Sammy was not afforded these rights so had to pursue them himself .... and ultimately got cleared.

He wasn't cleared at all and SAM did some dodgy things himself. The WADA have never cleared SAM. He didn't want the B Sample tested by a WADA approved LAB, he wanted a sample of it and he wanted it tested by an independent lab that was not WADA approved, does that sound like above board behavior of an innocent person to you? Lastly, he admitted he had consumed a banned substance and was not aware of it at the time, claiming the ingredient was not listed on the product he consumed when in fact it is.

It can't happen, at least not in the near future. Mayweather has 4 fights left with Showtime and GGG is still contracted with HBO. Tszyu had the same issue when stripped for not fighting Gatti. IMO Tszyu walks straight through Gatti - totally outa left field I know.......

Wasn't a lucky punch. Sammy got systematically broken down. Mundine's best KO IMO.
