    in my eyes yes. if a boxer can make an weight be the best in the world than he is. he couldnt lose 15 pounds and win vs maybe donaire, because he would be to much drained and he is an adult man and can't become a 18 year thin boxer he ones was. but look at pac., dont tell me he would have so mayor problems vs khan or rios would he go down 1 or 2 divisions. look at floyd, if he wins vs cotto and becomes an 154 champ, does that mean he suddenly can't wuup any welterweight in the world. come on, its so silly, some world class boxer are the best in several divisions and thats how it is.

    Don't you think you're taking what he says too seriously? The fight is called Ring Kings. Mayweather is obviously trying to build them both up as kings of the ring. It's called promoting. Does it really matter if he's actually the king of the 154 lb. division? It's a subjective term anyway. And considering Cotto is the highest rated, most talented, and most accomplished fighter at 154, it would seem as though as he has better claim to the title than anyone else in that division.

    And Vernon Forrest is the best 154 lbs fighter.

    mayweather, pacquiao, cotto, and canelo are the fights that sergio would come down to 154.

    They are basically big money fights, other than that he's staying at 160

    What the hell are you talking about? I said that if Martinez is the 154 lb. king, then why is he fighting at 160 and demanding that many top 154 lbers fight him at 160?
