I thought someone said it was Garcia in Sept? I like the rematch with Cotto or Miadana better than Garcia but Floyd will most likely take on the easier fighter with an unblemished record. It's safe and looks good on paper....who could blame him?

 

it would be but he would lose to garcia at 140 in may if he climbs to fight cotto. He would destroy his body it will cannabalize his muscles and once that happens at his age

Yeah because Catch weights were created, and have only been used in Pac and Floyds era

160 lbs is just the division upper limit, there doesn't need to be a catch weight in place for this fight.

Cotto will likely weigh his usually 155 lbs and Floyd around 150 + lbs but as they would have a choice to weigh as much as 160 lbs it would be a middleweight fight.

 

If he does move up to fight Cotto and wins then I hope when the God of War gets mentioned the *****s don't cry he's too big.

If you mean GGG, then the fact that he is contracted to fight on HBO and Floyd fights on Showtime it is difficult to see how that fight could be made.

Would like to see it but not sure how it could happen.

 

That would be the sticking point.

It's not just Mayweather, it's the same with Cotto if your staying at middleweight then you should fight middleweights not blown up welterweights/light middles etc.

And certain fighters fans need to understand this.

 

Mayweather see the middleweight title that cotto has as a straight forward win , cotto will get soundly beaten if they fight again

 

duckweather should of tested the waters in middleweight long time ago he is a natural small middleweight..........duckweather will never go to 160 because he knows their are dangers at that weight class

 

even if he wins the title and beats cotto he will give the title up becaouse GGG will be on his heels ............................
