It is entirely possible that Alvarez is packing some china in his mandible. We will see soon enough if he can take Mayweather's punches. If he gets destroyed, we will know that he had some fragile whiskers.

look at his opponents and ask yourself if they have ever been ko'd

mosley (been dropped twice if i recall during his whole career, never been stopped)

marquez (mayweather dropped him like alot of fighters have, but no one has stopped him)

ortiz - stopped (and like it or not go and rewatch round 4 and tell me mayweather was not opening up with crisp combinations... it was heading to a hatton style knockout)

cotto - mayweather had him wobbled in the 12th, he tried to close the show but could not cotto is a tough guy no one can refute that after the vicious beatdowns he went through vs pac and margarito you know the kids got heart

guerrero - never been stopped, he was teeing off on him during round 7 or 8 i think he could have closed the show if you believe he broke his hand fair enough he does have a history of it

hatton - taken into deep water and drowned him (KO)

baldomir - before floyd had only been ko'd once in his career in one of his earliest fights despite many losses

judah - been ko'd once in his career before floyd (once after by khan though that was an attempt at getting out of the fight arguing a low blow clearly). people here think floyd could have stopped him if it was not for the blatent low blow from judah in the 10th round i think it was, i for one dont think floyd could have finished judah

out of all those welterweight opponents there are a few there that floyd MAY have been able to KO but he def does not have vicious punching power like a tommy hearns so im not sure what your trying to get at... if you think floyd does not try for the knockouts i think your mistaken

edit : and by the way, floyd aient stopping canelo. with a size advantage like he has floyds not going to even THINK of trying to test canelos chin until atleast rounds 7 and 8 after what he sure plans to be many rounds of him timing and potshotting canelo. there may be a chance that canelos team stops the fight if they dont want there prospect to take to much punishment as they plan a long career ahead for him but even that to me seems doubtful

I didn't think that Alvarez would beat Trout, afterall, Void refused to fight Trout because he was too dangerous for him. Alvarez did beat Trout, first to knock him down and almost out. If Void wins the fight it will be by UD or split decision. However, don't forget the punch that Mosley landed on Void, had Void out on his feet. Mosley knew that so he quit punching. Why did Mosley quit punching? I really don't know why, but something smells. I give Alvarez a pretty good chance, but I expert Void to win. Void can't lose a decision in Vegas.

First of all, I am not an American. Secondly, I am fully aware that Liechtenstein is a country. I am referring to the prestigious University of Lichtenstein in Germany, one of the top educational establishments in Europe.:deal

Now refrain from trolling my thread or expect a thorough thrashing in front of a global audience of millions.:boxing2

My research at the University of Albania in Czechoslovakia on punching power has lead me to the exact same conclusion- the Ginger Ninja is going down in the second.

please, do not insult the United Staes by insinuating that 46and0, Bailey or HEADBANGER are Americans.

these guys are all the same person and when one gets temporarily banned(right now it is HEADBANGER) then his other aliases infest the forum with the trolling.

the esb moderators are so desperate for membership they let thses idiots continue to ruin the fourm.
