Lol yeah it's pretty hard to hate on Floyd tonight. . . He did his thing, and really, Cotto did his thing too. . The better man just prevailed.

Complete bull****. Sure a lot were partially blocked, but not just "rolled off", they landed hard enough to hurt. On the contrary, I think you show how little you know about boxing, you just copy paste what most people say about Floyd's fights (and it's true most times) "oh yeah, all those punches didn't land", thinking it's a safe bet to look "smart". Mayweather made him miss, sure, and won the fight, sure, not nearly as easy and as slickly as against other guys he's embarrassed.

The thing is, it's not crazy to have Cotto winning very few rounds, but the fight was not the typical schooling Floyd has us used too, and some of you scrubs are making it seem like it was. Lmao.

Cotto fought his ass of better than I expected. Pbf is the truth he dug downn deep and on my card won 10-2. Imo he's past his best his accuracy isn't what it used to be. Props to both men for giving a great fight.

mayweather chose to show a differeny style tonight. he wanted to put on a show for the fans and maybe prove he could win a physical fight. he did incredible and showed he can do it all. anyone who thinks floyd is past his prime and so on is an idiot seriously floyd did what he wanted out there plain and simple. i dont care much about the pacman fight its ****ing annoying already but if they do fight i doubt manny can beat floyd. lets say floyd is on the decline, well many might agree so is pacman so either way they will fight at an even level and i would be very surprised if pacman were to win.

It was hard to see him eat shots like that, but he's tough as fuqq still. . . And Canelo really is pretty good. . . .

Cotto´s head movement is not too good.....his combinations aren´t great because he has slow hands......and still Floyd was hit by too many clean punches.....
Floyd disappointed me and looked past prime to me.....

Yeah its sad when you know how good he was to see him just get beaten ot the punch by a guy you know in his prime couldn't hang with him ..

Canelo is a work in progress ..I want to see him in there with a young lion like him before I dub him anything ..

Oh yeah, no doubt, there were some punches getting through. . More than we're used to seeing. . However, most of them really were being rolled, ducked, caught, or deflected. . .

It's just that Floyd usually doesn't have to work that hard to win, so a 10-2 - 8-4 type win might look a lot worse to casual fans. . .

And I'm by NO means a "*****" - I fire Floyd up all the time . . I'm just trying to be real here. . . Cotto fought a good fight, and Floyd stepped up to still pull out a clear win.

Mayweather is a tad overrated... And Cotto prior to this fight, was underrated. This fight was closer than those sell out HBO commentators made it seem. I guess the plot is Floyd VS Manny...

Floyd didnt look off at all, Cotto looked more "on" than he has looked in a long time.

Cotto lost a wide decision, but he fought better than he has fought in a very long time.

    I really want to see Canelo/Cotto next. . .

I'm still not sure about Cotto being at 154. . . I think Canelo might stop him, but I could just as easily see Cotto stop him too. . It'd really tell us if Cotto belongs at 154, and if Canelo is world class.

I agree, great night overall for all of boxing. Beautiful night. I'm sad to see Shane go out like that, but he fought his heart out and the whole theater (which was sold out) gave him a big round of applause

Thank you :good Floyd even said this after the fight. He said he could have made is boring but he wanted to give the fans what they wanted to see.
