Floyd looked great tonight. Pac fan or not, you cannot deny that he was on the money. Man has not lost a step. I hope he compromises a lil bit in the split so we can get that fight on.
obviously i picked floyd to win easily and he did...but it was his roughest fight....showed he was a bigger man and squashed he beef with old man merchant by apologizing... floyd was pretty damn likeable tonight
I don't think Mayweather just "chose" to go toe to toe. Cotto was forcing him to the ropes numerous times and made him fight his fight. Floyd was clearly most comfortable pressing at range in the center of the ring, not against the ropes in a fire fight.
floyd's main agenda here is to outdo pac vs cotto ie ko cotto.. floyd winning was a foregone conclusion.
I don't know. Floyd has been saying for months he was going to fight like that. It looked like to me he could have just boxed Cotto and used lateral movement.
He said he disagreed with the judges on his twitter, but that he's just resting with his family. Pulled a JMM I guess.
it was a great fight... floyd won 9 rounds to 3....props to cotto for a good showing but mayweather just proves AGAIN that he is the best....i really did wish that mayweather would have went for the kill in the 12th round when he had cotto badly stunned.
