If you get a chance watch this interview: http://www.fighthype.com/pages/content9899.html

He made a real valid point.

Is isn't amazing that the only fighters Mayweather is said to be ducking are Top Rank Fighters promoted my Bob Arum. (Pacman, Cotto, Margortio)

Mayweather use to be promoted by Bob Arum, but they had a bad breakup and it seems like that is the way Bob can get payback on Mayweather. It amazing that he wasn't known as a "hand picker of fights" until he stop fighting for Arum and the only fighters that he is accuced of not fighting is Arum's fighters.

    What do you think?

I think that he ducked Margarito, Cotto, and Pac. At each point in time, those were the ONLY fights that fans wanted to see Mayweather in. Did we see any of those fights?

BTW, Floyd was known as a cherry picker since directly after he fought Castillo.

People wanted him to face Mosley and when he did they called Mayweather coward.

When he faced Judah people said he is ducking Baldomir, who already beat Judah, but when he beat both he got no credit for those same people.

He can’t please haters because they hate him regardless

Also people wanted to see Mayweather vs. Delahoya and we did see that.

Ive' said this before, Arum knows how good Floyd Mayweather is, and he doesnt want to feed Floyd hes fighters, even earlier in their careers, if Floyd fought Cotto, Margarito, Clottey or whoever and beat em, then they wouldnt be as big as they are now, and Arum couldnt have made that much money if he took that risk.

Lol, i laugh when i see people call Floyd a cherry picker, well who was promoting him? ARUM! Same exact thing Arum is doing with Pacquiao. After Floyd bought out hes contract he fought DLH, Hatton, Marquez and Mosley. Floyd had said that Arum still owes him guaranteed money from the Judah and Baldomir fights if I remember.

i really enjoyed that interview....but even though it's only bob arums fighters that he's accused of ducking, it's still the truth.......if mayweather really is his "own" man in boxing, then why not make an offer to them, since that's what the fans wanted ????

i understand him not wanting to be arums puppet, but in a sense he still was cause he wasn't giving the fans what they wanted, all while letting arum drag his name thru the mudd.....

    @ widowmaker

Think about what you just said, at that time the only three fighters in the WORLD for him to fight, and come how they all faught for the same promoter (Bob Arum). Bob Arum created that bull**** about he was ducking them. If he is ducking anybody its Bob Arum, his old boss!!!!

Think about it, Bob Arum is good at promoting, as a matter of fact he is the best right now. He is so good that he sold me a fight for $65.99 I bought on pay per view between a grade A fighter (Pacman) and a grade D- old vertern fighter that is a ***** (Shane Mosley). Not only did i buy the fight, Bob Arum had me buy into the fact that it was going to be an competitive fight. That is what a good promoter does, he puts icying on **** and sells it as a cake!!!!

Floyd dont want to give any Arum money, vice versa. and remember Arum controls the boxing media, he pulls the strings, hes been contributing to boxing for yearsssss lol. I call Arum "overhype and cherry pick". Its all about money, Mosley left GBP, bam fight with Pacquiao, JMM is free, bam gets a trilogy offer against Pac.

Arum controls the boxing media. period.

Absolutely true. And, Arum has developed this mindset in the media. The Tards truly belive this ****! Amazing what the power of media can do! Tells you what to think, what to buy and where to go!

It is worth actually watching the video. Quite articulate interview and Floyd seems pretty genuine.

This is certainly something boxing fans can't overlook.

For the fact, I do not think (anymore) fighters cherry-pick.

    I think promotors do.

I feel you what you are saying, but Bob Arum good at selling bull****. Look at the fight we just watched last week. But Bob so good at selling bull**** we bought into it.

Lets be forreal, in 2007 when he was accused of ducking Cotto and margorito, lets take a close look at the circumstances AT THAT TIME IN 2007 (facts only, no opinion).

-In 2007 Mayweather could of fought 3 people. (Hatton, Cotto, or Margorito).

-In 2007, Cotto was 28-0 with his only name fighter he beat was Paul MAlignaggi, Carlos quintana, and DeMarcus CHop chop Corley.

-2007 Rick Hatton was unbeated fith a record of 43-0. He had wins over fighers like Joes Luis Castillo, Juan Urango, Luis Collazo, KOSTYA TSZYU, and VINCe PHILLIPS.

LEts remember, Cotto first pay per view fight was against Manny, so for Floyd to fight cotto would of been for less money and a fighter who hasn't put his self in the running to fight against the pound for pound Champ (IN 2007). But the only reason we believe he should of got a shot is because of the promotional abilities of Bob Arum. At the time, Ricky Hatton was getting alot of buss, 43-0, belt holder and not only that he had a entire nation behind him.
