they are both probably on PED's. i think mayweather is about a deuce and a half in that video, but it's mostly water weight.

Hmm his sparring partner was sparring in an orthodox stance; Manny is south paw. What's Matthew Hatton?

 Thanks for that. That sparring partner and some of you all posters are quite the sensitive type. I mean take a look at James Toney's sparring sessions. He'll talk **** all trhoughout while he's kicking the living **** out of his partners and they just stand there and take it like a man.

Calling a guy a ***** is not a big deal.

    It's always staged.
My favorites are the 24/7 when the cameras are allowed in and the other guy is bleeding.
Floyd can't even do that in fights he's making millions to win.:lol:

Guys bleed in sparring all the time. In sparring you don't have a cutman shoving tissue and q-tips up your nose and trying to stop the bleeding between rounds, so quite often a little nosebleed ends up contributing a lot of blood by the end of three or four rounds whereas it would likely be stopped at the end of the round in a pro fight.

I have no doubt that Floyd busted up that guys nose in sparring. I also have no doubt that it probably wasn't as impressive as the blood made it look, probably just a sharp jab or something.

Showing the blood but not what caused it is a lot more dramatic than showing Floyd popping some guy with a jab and opening up his nose, for the same reason that monsters that you don't see in scary movies are always scarier than the ones that you do see.

Don't confuse deceptive editing with staging.

I don't know about other gyms but if you talk **** in sparring at my old gym, its on like Donkey Kong. I seen a MMA guy take down the other guy in regular boxing sparring and we all had to stop him from pounding the guy on the floor, he was so mad.

If you talk ****, be ready for a war, not a sparring match, IMO.
