http://www.forbes.com/sites/kurtbad...uld-be-floyd-mayweathers-biggest-payday-ever/ Forbes predict CANELO vs FLOYD will earn Pretty Boy his biggest pay day ever and also break ALL PPV records. This fight is HUGE, all boxing fans should be grateful and by the time September is here the rest of the world will be on board. For the minority that are still finding things to complain about just Cheer Up, Relax and get ready for The Biggest Fight Of All Time :good
The best write up on this http://www.latimes.com/sports/boxing/la-sp-dwyre-mayweather-alvarez-20130601,0,6399699.column and what this fight means to boxing, a good read
If Mayweather does what Hopkins did to the Puerto Rican flag for his Trinidad fight, it will make 3M PPVs easy. Also, possibly a contract on Floyd by the cartels.
Why is everyone saying this will do well, when his last fight got 0.8m views? I think it will hit 1.6m max.
this is not the greatest fight of all time???? FFS why are you *****s intent on blowing this **** way out of proportion? heres a little history lesson greatest fights ever Johnson vs Jeffries Schmeling vs Louis Frazier vs Ali these fights transcended the sport Pac vs Mayweather might have qualified????? this Canelo vs Mayweather isnt even a super fight its merely an interesting PPV event. read up on your boxing history so you can familiarize yourself with what qualifies as an epic event.
This, its the biggest boxing match that can be made today. So its exciting to see a fight the fans have been wanting, greatest fight ever hell no.
Because Robert Guererro isnt Canelo Alvarez. Alvarez is already getting 40k people going to his fights! The guys a HUGE deal!
Really, what makes you say that? I don't think any fight will top the 2.4mil mark, maybe Mayweather vs Pacquiao a few years ago, but highly doubt this will. 1.8 is a reasonable figure.
If Canelo had a stronger following it would be a guarantee but it will be close. I think it will just under 2. The only reason I feel it does that strong is because it fits well with the mexican community and they are slightly attached to canelo. who comes to fight. And he's young. So he suits well to the young mexican crowd who will order this fight. To the degree who knows?
I trust Forbes more than any of you couch economists/"sports experts." This PPV will definitely break all kinds of records.
