From all indications this fight did at least 900,000 homes in America and furthermore could even reach 1.6 million homes. If this is true.
    THAN OMG AND WTF...!!!
You guys hated on this fight from day one.
even with a recession, the media trashing this fight, fans talking of boycotting and UFC competing with it all on the same night...
The Mayweather fight still did more than Pacquiao vs. Hatton and probably Pacquiao vs. Cotto
The deck was completely stacked against Mayweather and he still pull it out.
This fight proved Mayweather claim on him being a cash cow.
oh yeah..he has been off for 2 years

    900,000 at $49.95 = 44.95 Million in P.P.V Revenue
    925,000 at $49.95 = 46.20 Million in P.P.V Revenue
    950,000 at $49.95 = 47.45 Million in P.P.V Revenue
    975,000 at $49.95 = 48.70 Million in P.P.V Revenue
    1.0 Million at $49.95 = 49.95 Million in P.P.V Revenue
    1.1 Million at $49.95 = 54.94 Million in P.P.V Revenue
    1.2 Million at $49.95 = 59 Million in P.P.V Revenue
    1.3 Million at $49.95 = 64 Million in P.P.V Revenue
    1.4 Million at $49.95 = 69 Million in P.P.V Revenue
    1.5 Million at $49.95 = 74 Million in P.P.V Revenue
    1.6 Million at $49.95 = 79 Million in P.P.V Revenue

Mayweather has $10 million guarantee, minimum
Marquez has $3.2 million guarantee, minimum
Mayweather Promotions was also the lead promoter (Mayweather promotions paid for the 24/7 and etc) with Golden boy being co- promoter.

I mean damn Floyd Mayweather could be looking at taking home anywhere from
30- 65 Million dollars including live gate and Movie sales numbers for a fight with Juan Man. Marquez…!!!
I guess he wasn’t lying when he said he will make more money than Manny Pacquiao and Miguel Cotto combined.!!

BETTER BELIEVE, FLOYD will be enforcing
60/40 for a fight with Pacquiao
70/30 for a fight with Cotto
and I hope 95/5 for a fight the "JUICE MAN"Mosley

LOL.... pacquiao has no argument to argue about getting the bigger share. but

I bet Pacquiao is now thinking about why exactly is he giving ARUM 27%
    of his money..!!

Seriously..because you know if or when Pacquiao fights Mayweather.
Mayweather will be co-promoting right along side with TOP RANK
So that means Mayweather will get the fighters purse money and the Promoters purse money...

while Pacquiao will only get the fighters purse money !!!
Makes you think WTF is Pacquiao doing
    ???

Unless you are seeing some of the money, what do you care what the splits are? Don't you just want to see the fights happen?:huh

before you say you dont care, why did you even bring it up if you dont care, unless of course you really do care somewhat:patsch

I am happy that my favorite fighter is the face of the sport, and now maybe people can know their role and STFU!!:happy

YOu are 2 stupid. First of all the numbers are not confirmed. 2. the cable companies take 50%!!!! of the ppv revenue.
    DLH didn't make 80-90 M $ against Floyd.

True. Oscar only got $35m against Floyd didn't? Floyd is probably getting around $17/18m from this fight, still a lot of money, and still in comparison to what Pac will be getting v Cotto, it's going to be more.

    Oscar De La Hoya
Earnings: $43.0 million for the Floyd fight.

try learning some facts before posting bull****.
I am pretty sure Mayweather got a bigger share over Marquez than De la hoya got over him.

Plus Mayweather Promotions were the lead promoters for this fight.
    you do the math.

Mayweather will get probably anywhere from 30million +

My PPV was $54.99, which would bump the numbers quite abit. But the fighters only get half or so of the PPV numbers to split, so going by you numbers floyd would be looking at 15-32 million, my guess would be around 20 mill, once the numbers of final. I think that 1.6 is high, I think that they will be in the 850 to 1.0 range total and not the 1.6.

Wow, not many business majors in here then?

    Overhead people, overhead.

Arenas cost money, cameras cost money, employees cost money, production costs money, investors take their share, cable companies take their share, taxes, taxes, taxes, licensing fees, taxes, marketing, taxes.

Oh **** off you stupid ****. That's why I asked the question, 'did he get 35m', it wasn't a statement you ****ing twat. And hence the word 'probably'. Would you like to explain how Floyd is getting only $10m or so less in this fight than De La Hoya did in their one, when the PPV's figures are more than halved?
