Looks like the Yahoo Sports writers who voted PBF P4P #1 in September started to regain some of their common sense. You don't become P4P best by beating a smaller man.

The Yahoo! Sports monthly rankings underwent big changes in October despite the fact that none of the top-ranked fighters were in action.

Manny Pacquiao, who faces Miguel Cotto on Nov. 14 in Las Vegas in what is expected to be a high-paced bout, supplanted Floyd Mayweather Jr. for the top spot. Mayweather had a one-point edge over Pacquiao in September, but Pacquiao climbed past him by five points in October.

This is the only problem boxing has... We need a place were the true fans of boxing can vote and voice their opinion on who is number 1 and who belongs in top 10. If you notice it's always the guys that make the most money as of lately who are only recognized by these such people, that influence the public. I think tournaments should all be created for all divisions, where ducking would not be allow and everyone would get a chance including promising new stars.

Any fan of their fighter would be happy that they got the nod when it came to the sports writers....pac fans would be talkin ****...margarito fans would be talkin ****...joe c fans and vitali fans would be talkin ****....so it is something that the fans deserve to brag about

to bad as long as floyd is around than i dont think nobody is gonna take his spot...
