Mayweather makes the move up to 154 like he did with DLH and faces the Norris that beat up Mo Blocker.
if fight is at 154 and mayweather doeant make him meet at catch weight bull****....it will be a long night for floyd....
Even if it's a catchweight like Norris-Taylor, I don't like Mayweather's chances too much. Too small, too inactive with his hands.
I like Norris by KO or TKO. Terry had blazing speed and really let his hands go. Floyd does not throw enough punches to keep Terry off him. Terry did have a fragile chin, but I don't see Floyd cracking it at this weight.
Norris only did bad with fighters that could take his punch, not so much defend from it, and they didn't have to be big punchers themselves. Like RJ, he wasn't the smartest fighter, but was athletically gifted. Floyd even at WW didn't have the pop to hurt Terrible Terry and Norris would obviously be the bigger, stronger fighter. Like Duran before him, Norris was a great fighter, but inconsistent and you didn't know what version was going to fight that night and lost acouple of fights he could of easily won. He also had a glass chin, but Floyd isn't exposing it. If it was the brilliant boxer, Norris wins it by decision. If he goes for the ko, he would have Floyd clinching and running for dear life and Floyd being the cerebral assassin he is in the ring, would ride the storm out for 2-3 rounds while Terry would punch himself out and Floyd would outbox a tired Terry throughout the rest of the fight in a weakened state. It would be a 50-50 fight one I might slightly favor Floyd in. I'm a fan of Norris and don't like Floyd, but even I gotta admit Floyd has fought the much better opposition. Possibly Floyd by SD or a draw.
A couple of things here I disagree with, the first being that if a fighter can take Terry's punch then Terry did bad, there were fighters like Jorge Castro, Rene Jacquot who took Terry's punches well but still ended losing all 12 rounds. He was a smart fighter who never got hit flush that much, the perception that he wasn't a smart fighter comes from the Troy Waters fight I guess. And Terry had great stamina so he ain't going to tire out by punching himself out, the only fight where I saw Terry was a bit winded in was his fight against Quincy Taylor but that was in both Terry and Quincy's prospect stages of their careers and Terry dominated that fight 8 rounds to 2, so we can excuse that and Quincy Taylor went on to become a good fighter also. Its pretty damn tough to outbox Terry, he had the speed, footwork to cutoff the ring and the high work rate coupled with cerebral accuracy to win this fight big against the smaller man with good defense but a low work rate.
Terry, probably pretty easy. Floyd won't be able to bother Terry with his punch, and Terry would have the nadspeed and activity advantage, and the power to bother Floyd. Norris 116-111 with a KD. keith
