If he does it i will be pissed, but if he can does it to save boxing and make boxers look superior to MMA, then I'm all for it. But I heard about this rumor also
This is crap. Unless Floyd has been in serious MMA training for the last few months I wont believe it. He didnt even show interest on the reality show on BET with MMA fighters.
He would have to really be craving a challenge to get into UFC, and Cotto couldn't even bring that out in him so I don't understand why fighting a scrub in UFC would. Strange thing though, I saw an interview with him and Ellerbe about a month ago where boxing is talked to the max and I remember Ellerbe was making a vague reference to Floyd doing something really big, something huge... that would suprise a lot of people blah, blah. Maybe that was the retirement, or maybe it was him going to UFC, or both. I don't see it though.
Maybe he can make big money there fighting bums, maybe Dana White has offered him a huge some of $ to do this. ****ing hell I would be disapointed in Floyd if he made this move. This would be a real slap in the face to boxing, a sport he could have really made big waves with by fighting Cotto and helped in its struggle to stay on the map.
