That's completely a different scenario . . . James Toney refused the 40% when he was the challenger to Wlad . . . this time it's PBF who's challenging Pacquiao and he is asking for 60/40 in his favor?

Quit trying to act like as if nobody know who he is and nobody is willing to pay to see him fight. If Pac is a bigger draw than Him and Oscar would have broke records but they didn't. I fail to see reason to your post.... I don't see how you don't find 60-40 purse unfair. Considering he's not the star of the show anymore, it's all pac.

 

I think it should be 50-50, but people shouldn't act like floyd is not a draw. this is not 2004.

 

Pac and Floyd are about equal in draw power, and after Pac last fight I wouldn't be surprised if he became the bigger draw.

A 50/50 split should be fair.

But anyways IMO it's Floyd just talking bs, he's still fighting JMM so he doesn't need to get serious about future negotiations.

50/50 should do it (if Mayweather beats Marquez). Most boxing analysts, will say that DeLaHoya was the main draw in both fights - can't really say Floyd is a bigger draw than Pac since his fight with DLH made more $$ because the economy was in a different state then.

We will see who the bigger draw is when we see how much the Mayweather/Marquez battle makes. If it makes more than Pac/Hatton, then I will agree that Mayweather is the bigger draw.

Regardless - because of both of their standings, I think 50/50 is fair.
