At the end of the day, Floyd created the issue that killed the fight. I've now heard two ESPN analysts since the Mosley fight claim Floyd is making these demands because he is scared of Pac and losing his undefeated record. They were two black guys from two different shows and no fans of Manny Pac.

And the Pac-Cotto fight being at a catchweight is an entirely different situation to Mayweather coming above the contracted weight with Marquez (who was a lightweight coming up).

Pac was the small guy in the Cotto fight, they both agreed on the catchweight and both made weight ensuring a fair fight under those stipulations.

What Mayweather did not only gave him a blatant unfair advantage, it was outright dangerous. How GBP and the authorities let the fight go ahead was a disgrace. Mayweather didn't even try to cut the weight. Shows how much of an advocate for fairness and fighter's safety Mayweather is.

So this utter hypocrite all of a sudden starts crying about how he cares about ensuring an even playing field and fighters getting hurt by others using PEDs, we're all supposed to applaud in blind faith and just forget his flagrant disregard for fairness and for Marquez's well-being just six months back?

Sorry, I'm not as gullible as his fans apparently are.

If he was so keen to be clean he wouldn't inject his hands with a substance that is only legal in a niche area.

It's like flying to Amsterdam to get high, then coming back to America to lead a campaign against drug use.

"Hey, it was legal where I did it so it must be ok, right?"

Floyd doesn't have any concern for the ethics of the situation. Only idiots think he does.

Can everybody agree regardless of Mayweathers intentions that stricter drug testing procedures are good for the sport of boxing

I totally agree. The commission should decide when and how to implement it though, not the Mayweather clan. :good Pac has said from day one that he will take whatever test required by the commission. Hopefully the NSAC will step up and save us from months and months of this 24/14 day cutoff nonsense going back and forth between camps.

Before May brought up the topic of blood testing in boxing nobody was talking about it from what I remember. Now it is on the tips of ever signal fight fans tongue. I believe Mayweather has succeeded in his attempt to bring this issue to the forefront of the sport.

If boxing were to clean up its protocols (as blood is the only current way to test for HGH & EPO) it would put pressure on all the mainstream sports. Say what you want, but Money loves this sport. It is his life and family history that he is trying to protect.

No, I thought my post made it crystal clear. Manny does not have to submit to random testing as specified by Floyd for a fight between them to materialize.

You are starting from a premise that is not valid, but one that Floyd, Al Haymon & Oscar/Schaefer hope the boxing world would buy into.

All fighters should be tested. Boxing has to get this done. It's the only sport with weak testing, and no pension...

Why do you start a thread, then be the first one to comment?

Isn't it more proper to edit the original thread and add your insight to that instead of commenting later after the thread?

Pac's fans have to stay on the 'Floyd is lying, Floyd isn't honorable, PAc was poor and humble routine day after day. It stops them from truly thinking that their hero really can't beat Floyd...

And I thought you have brain?

A complete testing costs close to 20 thousand dollars. So how can you have even a pension if even at the current state of minimal testing, they don't even ahve pension?

If even the smallest undercard would have that kind of testing, the purse of some fighters might not even be enough to pay the testing alone, much more have a pension!

Floydettes are living in the clouds!
