I have a small bet on Hopkins +325. I just can't resist. He's like James Toney for me, no matter how much logic tells me he's going to lose, I can't bet against him.

I also have money on Rubio/Ornelas going under 9.5, and Harris over Fuller. My colleagues like Rubio as do I, but not at -275.

    Who's playing this weekend?

If you think Hopkins will win, the much smarter bet is to bet Hopkins to win by decision which is nearly a 6/1 odd. That's two times better than just picking him to win.

Pavlik will not knock Bernard out he has power but Hopkins is one of the best defensive fighters today. Kelly Pavlik by decision.

Hop by decision is +500, Hop straight is now available as high as +360. With his headbutts and the amount of in-fighting, nasty cuts are not out of the question. I can see Hop getting a flash KD, if the energy is there (unlikely) he can go for it. A draw also loses on the prop.

Obviously Pavlik decision is the play. OBVIOUSLY. Predictions and bets are different things. Im not playing Pav pts b/c its -140.

Cool, but i still think that if one thinks Hopkins is going to win, one would assume that it's most likely going to be via decision. So i would rather go with the near 6/1 odd versus the 3.5/1 odd. But that's just me.

Ray "Boom Boom" Mancini says Hopkins won't get knocked out if he doesn't want to. :bart I feel Pavlik has a better than 50/50 chance on this one because it won't be the hug fest we are used to and he doesn't have the stamina to avoid for 12. I can't see Hopkins boxing for 12.
