    This. to beat Cotto, you can't take rounds off like that, you have to work close to the entire round, it will be tough for Canelo.

    I wouldnt take Mosleys word on anything. To a shot fighter everyone hits the same.


    Trout was doing himself no favors leaning in like he was and dropping his left constantly and pulling back with his gloves down.

    Trout was eating the punches well. The reason why he went down is because Saul stepped on his foot as he landed. Trout pulled back and Saul took his foot off. That was the reason for the chicken leg. Trout ate some very crisp upper cuts an rights without even being buzzed. He's got a very very solid beard.

    If Alvarez was more active, his power would be more impactful.

    If Floyd still had his legs, he could pull a Baldomir slick potshotting performance against Canelo. Flat footed as he is, he's going to take some leather from Canelo. Against guys his size, being anchored down is perfectly ok, but a guy who will be 170 in the ring is dangerous.

    It'll be interesting to see how much Nelo would try to get Floyd to come towards him. Most guys egos won't allow them to do that versus the premier potshotting slickstar.

    I don't think Floyd would be as accurate as usual due to how "negative" Nelo can be.

    Perhaps Floyd can create something to make Nelo lay off on that bull****.

    Alvarez would struggle to land.

    Depends on how he looks in May. I think Floyd is intending on fighting him in September and is using Guerrero as a tuneup. I believe he also brought his dad back because he knows he got hit too much vs Cotto to fight a 172 pounder.
    With them working on his jab, defense and movement for his next fight, it seems like they're getting ready for it.

    If Floyd is able to look untouchable vs Guerrero again, then I say make the fight.
