Why is it that there seems to be a lack of love for Archie Moore in discussions on this forum? One of the best and most amazing fighters of all time, yet seems to be largely overlooked. I see more praise for tons of guys who weren't nearly as good, yet his name rarely comes up. Why is that?
This forum runs on cycles, as I see it. Mention Packey Mcfarland in a thread and 3 new threads will be made on him the same day. I know I posted about Moore a couple of hours ago and there's a lot of fans of him on this site... The problem is that everybody knows he was great, while there are hundreds of little Thais boxer that were great and that no one has ever heard of. :yep In othe words, Moore is not enough hip, so let's talk about Mike O'Dowd. :hey
