    Imagine some of these keyboard warriors taking Tysonesque punches for 2 rounds, then having the guts to keep fighting on when he could have easily thrown in the towel

    My general inclination is indeed that a fight should go to its natural conclusion. The ref should always let it go on if somebody makes it to their feet before ten or even close. If you are standing, you are ready to fight. Refs should also toll the full ten when somebody is on the canvas too, to give them the maximum amount of time to get up.

    Generally boxing - and its fans - have become sissified. Officials stop fights too soon, and these "fans" cheer them on. When I started following the sport 35 years ago, we fans raised holy hell when a fight was called before the full ten count was tolled!
