Monroe was straight trash tonight, GGG had a hard time with him.

Sure brook got rocked but that's what to be expected. GGG being lifted off the ground by a WW uppercut was highly impressive and stole the round for me.. That was eye candy. Disagree if you will, but imo I had it 2-2 regardless going into the 5th round.

 

See, that's the bias I was talking about earlier though. You can't just give extra points for things like that. You have to be objective. Brook didn't really hurt GGG even with that. He ate those uppercuts. Brook on the other hand? He needed a moment. Brook is a natural 154 lbs fighter. He was really just at WW because he got a title and was hoping to get a fight with Khan that never came. GGG is a average to small MW. On Fight night Brook may have been a little bigger than GGG. Objectively, not arbitrarily giving extra points for a size difference (that isn't really extreme), it was 3-1.

Had that fight not happened, the same mofos downplaying him now would be off the wall about how GGG doesn't want anything to do with a slickster like Monroe. But since he got destroyed, he's useless to 'em. Off to the next boogeyman.
