Monte Barrett has been named as David Haye's opponent on November 15, Adam Booth confirmed on Bunce's Boxing Hour.

'Two Guns' is ranked number six by the WBO following his impressive knockout victory of Tye Fields on June 28.

The 37-year-old has twice fought for a world title, losing to Hasim Rahman in 2005 and Nikolay Valuev the following year.

"We’ve just done the deal, it will be our friend Monte 'Two Guns' Barrett," Booth revealed.

"Barrett’s the type of guy that knocks out prospects. He’s got fast hands and whacks hard.

“All he can do is scream David’s name. Everyone on the internet keeps saying 'don't fight JD Chapman, fight Monte Barrett'.

"David said 'let's try and get the fight' and Lou Di Bella, an honourable man, did the deal.

“He’s going to come over next week to do the press.

    “He’s a desperate man and that’s why he’s a dangerous man.

“David’s a lunatic when he sees danger he sniffs it out."

Barrett (34-6, 20 KOs) is ranked a place above JD Chapman who pulled out of a proposed fight with Haye last week.

The Hayemaker is currently ranked number three by the same organisation, whose champion is the consensus choice as best heavyweight on the planet and the man Haye wants to meet next summer, Wladimir Klitschko.

The fight will take place at London's O2 Arena.

No they didn't at all, it's just being confirmed by Haye's manager.
Again four days ago was what people THOUGHT it was going be, otherwise this thread would of being started 4 days ago.
As far as the bell end question goes, work it out mate.

Actually not a bad match up for HW debut. It would be funny though if Haye gets KTFO by a light hitting Monte.
