Both arrive In the ring, ready to fight. Barret gave Valuev hell. Would he give a 1988 Mike Tyson hell?
I was thinking Tyson would smoke Barret in a round or two, but then I noticed you mention Barret giving Valuev a tough fight, and that changed my view entirely. Barret being competitive with a prime Valuev (who stands above all in the heavyweight stratosphere) automatically puts him in the A-tier, so... Barret KO1 Tyson.
On the basketball court apparently Barrett kicked Tyson’s ass according to an interview I read years ago. Unfortunately for 2 Gunz….his prowess with a basketball would not help him much in this fight.
Barrett did stop Tye Fields in one round so you can't count him out against anybody. Fields was 6'8", a real superheavy and Tyson is just a midget with short arms by comparison.
It has a Foreman-Frazier feel to me. Barrett was all wrong for Tyson, which is why he ducked him for so long.
