I'm a bit torn on this.

From what I read - from Monte's own mouth - he trained far harder, and far longer for the Tua fight than many of his previous ones. (more time, more rounds etc).

I thought it was an old guy, giving one last outstanding performance - raised himself for it - against a guy of similar vintage.

I hope that if he continues he can train and fight with the same intensity, otherwise it could turn out very bad for him.

if he can put in the effort he did vs tua he may be able to beat adamek whose punch hasnt carried up and chin has been shaken

Monte is too slow, he'd be thourougly outboxed. This match up serves absolutly no purpose to Adamek other than a glorified sparring session. As we see from the pics, these two are about thesame height so it would not serve as prep to fight a bigger man.. And I heavily doubt Adamek gets troubled by Monte's punch who does not punch harder than Arreola or Grant. Remember, you're not talking about Haye's chin here, you're talking about a cheen. Adamek has a hard chin, period. People are exaggerating with the shaken comments really. Adamek sways when getting hit hard and this is his strategy for getting away and being harder to hit when in trouble. His legs always remain steady and he's in control. I've seen this at CW as well from him. Adamek has never been in any real trouble at HW.

Barrett, will bring everything he has. If Adamek is slightly off in this match-up then Barrett has a good chance to win.

Based on what? His skill? His power? Have you actually seen Monte's last few fights? For example, all he had to do to take control of Tua is to start lazily pushing a jab in a forward direction from round 5 and on and Tua fell for it, being a limited come forward and faded fighter that he is. Just because he got robbed with an incredibly bad Tua, doesn't mean he comes close to touching Adamek. Aside from the Tua match, he's been everyone's whipping boy. People are, once again, totally under estimating Adamek and I love it.

people giving too much respect for the Tua draw (win) - Tua was, in his prime, a sideshow. But in his comeback he was a total joke who was built up by fans cause they liked his KO power.
