    Round 6

Wilson is jabbing and taking large steps back, waiting to set traps for Haumono with the uppercut. Wilson is boxing tall & using a frustrating style for Haumono, exploiting his height and jab and movement to make Haumono follow and lunge. Jabs to head and body by Wilson while circling. Haumono is plugging away straight ahead with lefts and rights to chest level, looking like he's underwater. SNAPPY jab by Wilson, shook Haumono a little.

    10-9 Wilson

    57-56 Haumono

Haumono started the round well but he looks very tired now. Wilson ended it well and wins the round comfortably.

    57-56 Haumono

If Haumono doesn't find a second wind (or score another sudden knockdown) Wilson is on pace to come back and pull it out!

That wouldn't have seemed plausible after the first several minutes.

    Before the seventh:

Haumono on his stool puffing. Wilson standing in his corner.

In round 7, Haumono landing some good body shots. Haumono looks sloppy and his defence is poor. Haumono rocks Wilson with a right hand, with one minute to go! I think that right hand is enough to give Haumono that round.

    67-65 Haumono.

    Round 7

Wilson is making it ugly, leaning down on Haumono's head with his forearms, pushing off, circling away, jabbing. Haumono keeps pushing in with his head bowed, unable to gain any purchase to the body as Wilson leans down on him to smother him and then pulls the chair out and disappears behind a screen of jabs. BIG RIGHT HAND BY HAUMONO leaping forward, stunned Wilson and sent him hurrying back to the ropes but doesn't have him ready to fall. Haumono rushes his work, banging away but getting blocked. Wilson is on the defensive for the remainder.

10-9 Haumono, on basically one big shot.

    67-65 Haumono

Wilson probably needs a knockout in round 8.

The scores will be 80-71 x3 for Haumono. :yep

Wilson is using a style that gets Americans robbed abroad on an almost weekly basis.

    Round 8

Wilson steps back, throwing in combination to catch Haumono on the way in. Soft cotton-ball left hooks and right uppercuts by Wilson, landing very cleanly. Haumono walks into a long triple left hook, slapping loudly against his face and the back of his right glove. Wilson is dictating range and pace, moving backward and throwing long counters, then leaning forward when backed up to the ropes and swallowing Haumono up. Short chopping shots on the inside by Wilson. Uppercut by Wilson as Haumono braces against him, heaving. A minute left. Short uppercut to the chest by Wilson. Haumono is just flailing away with leaden arms, getting blocked every time he throws. Several jabs by Wilson, through the gloves of Haumono. Lunging attack by Haumono, blocked. Wilson maneuvers off the ropes by spinning Haumono onto them, and Haumono DRAPES OVER THE TOP ONE, exhausted!! Wilson bends forward and hooks him in the head, trying to capitalize and score a late knockdown!! Moments left!! He doesn't get the KD, just the round...and it won't quite be enough.

    10-9 Wilson

    76-75 Haumono

A close final round. I'm going to give it to Wilson who finishes the round well.

    Overall: 76-75 Haumono.

Me and IB have got the same scorecards basically. Wilson needs to hope he gets given either the 3rd or 7th round which would be a bit of a stretch. Good work by Wilson though to get back into the fight considering he was 4 points down after 3 rounds.

Just saw on BR that Haumono's only loss is a split decision for the WBF World Heavyweight International World Championship of the World...
That means this Wilson guy must be pretty damn good :D

Oh ****, how did I miss that? Slow motion replay caught by Sky Arena cameras show that Haumono threw a Victor Ortiz style leaping headbutt at Wilson when he had him in the corner!!

I hope karma deals him a loss here..
