    He deserved the win against Jones. He frustrated Jones like no one else and was up or even when a clearly frustrated jones hit him twice while he was taking a knee.
    He fought a great game plan in that fight and had a great corner in that bout. He was not however a great fighter.

    I thought Toney beat him twice and he was on his was way to losing to RJ before the DQ.

    Not sure call him an all time great but did extremely well to beat Toney and really had Roy lookin baffled.

    Mac, I am guilty of it, too. However, Montell, although capable of some terrific performances, was NOT a great fighter. Frankly, I find the establishment of this thread to be perplexing to say the least lol.
