I like his chances against either one. I think he ko's Vic in a excellent fight but even though he has a good shot against Mijares with his power and good boxing ability I still see Mijares winning a close but clear UD. I think he is too slick for Montiel.

I think Mijares beats Vic with relative ease however he will have trouble with Montiel

this should have been happening instead of mijares-vic. although the winner of mijares-vic wil be bringing 3 belts for the unification fight with montiel, making whats at stake all the more sweeter. i personally like mijares over montiel, who can be hot/cold against slicksters.

This is what I've been waiting for for a long time now. Great great fight! In a unification fight no less!

I honestly think Montiel-Mijares could go either way. And Donaire should fight the winner of this fight in order to once and for all decide who the main man in the division.

he would definately be 1st if Pac loses, and top 2 either way

if boxing was perfect we would see it happen or at least see him get the chance to try

Mijares is more technically sound than Vic, who apparently hasn't learned anything from being KO'd by Donaire (still throwing those wild, looping left hands. Check out his last fight with Kirilov).

But I agree, Montiel should fight the winner. One champion wouldn't be a bad thing, and Mijares would be only the second person in boxing history to unify all four major belts (Bernard Hopkins was the first).

Donaire would probably move up to fight the guy with the 4 belts. Then we have a serious fight in our hands.

It is a shame that all the other weight classes can unify all 4 belts yet the Heavyweight Division can't get past 2 belts being unified in almost 10 years. :-(

nice to see the best wanting to fight the best.

Mijares is better than everyone else there though imo.

Mijares vs. Montiel is the one I've been waiting for for a long time now. It's got to happen.
