Buzzer obviously you are a newbie here Montiel V Donaire seems to me to be a boxing related thread in the Aussie section of ESB, do you know you could be banned for posting something like that.

On a different note I think it will be a brutal contest that goes the distance with a whisker of difference, i will have a little think about who wins but at this stage Montiel i know they both have a lot of KO's but i think they both will last

I expect this fight to a FOTY candidate due to their styles. I think it will a brutal encounter but both have good chins so I expect it to go to the cards. Montiel by split decision demanding a rematch.

Wow really. After seeing threads on the Aussie forum about
    Shane Mosely v Pacman
    Morales v Maidana
    Mickey Ward &
    Tyson Fury

all in the last 24hrs, I figured this was just a place were I could discuss boxing in general with fellow Australians. Didn't realise I was only allowed to talk about Australian fighters. That doesn't leave much to converse about with the current state of affairs in Australian boxing :nut

It was a joke mate it seems of late that all threads seem to go along the lines of who hates who on the board and little discussion on fights. I think your post was great and hopefully it stays on the fight and get some good discussion

Its got war written all over it. I think Donaire is the bigger man but who knows if it will make a difference?

If I was going to put money down I'd put it on Donaire. But I hate going against Montiel too. He's a mad little ******* and great fun to watch.

Roger that just re-read your comment. Sorry about that. Good to know I'm providing an opportunity for a sensible pugilistic discussion.

Oh I've put money on The Flash for a ko

mate it is one of those fight that either one on points or either by KO wouldn't be ahuge surprise, I just hope it lives up to it's hype better then some have in the past few years

Definitely a war, I can't see it going the distance and wouldn't surprise me if it ends inside 6. While I have huge respect for Montiel, Donaire has that 'X factor' that sets him apart from alot of fighters out there. I think he has the potential to be no1 p4p when Pac retires. Fast hands, faster feet and explosive power.

His frame would certainly support him continuing to move up in weight as well.

wouldn't surprise me if it ends in a KO but think that both have the chins to last will have to wait and see i guess. The winner will certainly make big steps in P4P rankings
