Who do you think is gonna win? I put a small wager on Castillo.. I saw Montiels last fight I think he seems to be a very slick lil guy..
I am not terribly confident, but I'm going with Montiel by unanimous decision I think he has what it takes to make a declining Castillo fight his fight and win a majority of the rounds. Castillo can pose problems for Montiel if he uses his boxing skills from the outside. Tough fight to call; can't wait to see it
I'm leaning towards Montiel for the close decision....but I hate picking him because he leaves himself wide open after combos and is very easy to hit (especially lately). This fight is a toss up. I don't even think I have seen anyone pick one guy or the other decisively yet. Its been one or the other by close decision. Maybe the smart pick is a draw
i've been on the castillo express for a couple years, so i'm sentimental towards a castillo win. i feel castillo is a much more capable fighter than montiel. a good mover, very slick defensively, good jab, can fight out side and inside, good counter puncher etc... i last saw montiel against gorres, and gorres almost had him beat. i think castillo will rise to the occasion, and get the respect he's been long due. his only 2 losses came from cuts due to his butter skin, him losing due to a stoppage is a possibility.
