Man, it would be great if this finally happens. Now we'll finally see if Donaire is for real or not. I really hope he can pull it off if this fight happens, but I have to say, Montiel has looked really good lately and has much better competition, Montiel will definitely be the favorite in this fight.

Really Donaire is in with a puncher whose vastly experienced the record speaks for itself.Anything can happen ofcourse...Montiel is the favorite to win I would think. But speed and right gameplan could possibly un-hinge Montiel but I don't see it.Power of Montiel is the key here too strong and he's a veteran.

Yeah, especially considering that Montiel is more used to the weight than Donaire is.

I think the resumes are actually not that far apart , Oscars best wins at that point are about as good as Doniare's best win today , more substance to DLH's resume in terms of better quality of opponent more consistently , De La Hoya was in there no doubt about it , maybe i worded what i was trying to say a bit wrong :patsch i was actually pointing out that De La Hoya was being mentioned alongside the likes of Pea , Jones , Tito , Tszyu & Barrera with a relativeley weak or equal resume to that of Donaire's today , and i do seem to remember that there was a case for Oscar being considered as the best of the bunch , which is rather like ranking Donaire #4 today ................
