If anyone still thinks that boxing isn't rotten to the core, then it is safe to say that they are utterly naive.

 

I hope the *******s speak loudly and stands behind Montoya since they believe that Floyd tested positive. BTW Scoop used to post garbage articles on ESB hating on Floyd everytime.

 

Of course it's rotten, but it's not because of PEDs. There is a reason why they are rampant and always will be; athletes and fans want them. You have to be a deluded hypocrite to say you are concerned for fighters safety and health when the game itself entails a component far more damaging to a fighter than PEDs and that's punches. If you really care about fighters safety and health then you should be looking to set up a unifying entity that can help provide long term care for it's participants.

People who cry about adverse risk from use just aren't educated on the proper and relatively safe use of PEDs and human living/performance.

 

I never said anything about safety. I just want fair fights where the best boxer wins. However, if PEDs allow fighters to compete beyond their ability to such a degree that it does introduce ADDITIONAL health and safety issues, then that does not make someone a hypocrite for realising that.

However, I'm under no illusions about boxing being safe, it's not, and this PED issue is almost entirely to do with cheating, corruption, money and power. Everyone witnesses the uncontrollable rage that is displayed on this, and every other forum, when a blatant robbery occurs. The PEDs issue is an extension of that, it make many fans mad to think that some fighters might get special treatment and be allowed to have an unfair advantage just because they generate more money.

It is infuriating, as a fan of this sport, to think of the crap that must be getting swept under the carpet. I believe that PEDs are widespread in boxing, and that favourable treatment regarding results of tests is very strongly correlated to the fighters popularity. I'm glad that someone with the power to investigate and expose is making an effort to do so.

How does Floyd benefit from PED's? What about his skillset maximizes the use of PED's of any kind?

No one really thinks he's on the stuff.

Who is the "Floyd hater"? A lot of fanatics from both sides say Floyd is a cheat, and Manny is a cheat. Should we take their posts as evidence?

The only thing Floyd suffers from is being defensive to the questions. There is nothing wrong with that. He's innocent until proven otherwise. The issue is with GBP and what they said in their letter to Montoya. That's where all this comes from.

 

So basically dude is still talking but not giving one source or any further information.. I just read that whole stupid write up and he gives us nothing, just asks a bunch of questions he's already asked.. Let me know when he has something besides random questions based off what he thinks.

 

I have just read the whole article on his site and the article over on ring magazine.....

The thing is Keith Kizer has said neither Mayweather or DLH ever tested positive.

But the main thing is Montoya hasn't provided any proof of what he is claiming.....he was asked by another reporter to see the proof and this reporter claimed Montoya got very upset.

I don't think we are any closer to the truth......but what it does appear is GBP don't like what he has been saying and have taken action against him.

So Montoya better hope what he was saying was true and more importantly he can prove it otherwise he is going to find it difficult to do the job he currently does.
