    Victor Conte ‏@VictorConte
@filipinoflash Likely that Nonito Donaire will do VADA testing for his next fight after July 7th. I also have hopes for Andre Ward to enroll

I'm not sure you understand. It's more a general feeling I've had towards this guy for 2 years or so. Not because of this story. I support his **** on his stories, I just feel he ruins a show I used to like.

If you listen to it as often as I do, you'd know where I'm coming from.

Yes, you are derailing, I'm pretty sure this is the second time (at least) that you have posted on a thread about this where your only contribution was to tell people what you thought of him...and by responding to someone calling you out on your irrelevant opinion on this you are continuing to derail. I have nothing more to say about this, apart from the topic which is actually worth discussing.

It is my second time, and there's many threads on him so it's not as if I've mentioned it in every thread he's involved in.

Also, I mentioned it again because I was listening to the podcast just before where instead of talking boxing, he feels the need to talk about that instead of some of the big enough fights coming up. Fair enough, talk about it a few times, but don't blimmin' drag it out on every damn show. Not everyone likes to focus on the negatives. I actually like the OTR show more now.

That's the attitude that lets these things get swept under the rug.

regardless if you think Montoya is a tool, he must be commended for investigating the drug testing issue because I don't see anyone else doing it.

Mayweather brought this to the public attention and as such the public should know what the test results are.

Worth discussing? Why not contribute instead of wasting your own time then? I've read more and probably know a lot more about the situation than yourself knows. I don't need to discuss something that I already know a lot about (saying that without sounding too arrogant). If you come onto a forum, don't expect anything less than opinionated people.

No, not when I've already read and listened to all that Mr Montoya has said on the subject. My opinion was about the amount he feels the need to discuss a particular matter on a show he co-hosts on. He's clouding it.

It's not the "Mr Montoya Drug Discussion Show". Like I said, if you're a casual listener of the show, which I assume you're not, you wouldn't know.

I have listened to it, actually. Don't be presumptuous. I listen to most of the podcasts at work (god bless office wi-fi).

It's a HUGE issue when the no.2 promoter in the US, with strong ties to HBO, and with big plans for controlling the sport is willing to a) suppress drug test results and b) pressure a journalist to keep quiet for asking questions.

It's an even bigger issue when elite fighters are doping and risking injuring their opponents.

not to mention quietly sacking the Doctor from her role at the Ring Magazine, the same doctor who is running VADA.

Furthermore what the **** has Khan been told?! One week its VADA only for him only to turn round and go with USADA, the company that may not have caught Peterson.

Of course, but I don't quite understand where I'm arguing that? :huh It's an extremely important matter which he's discussed in full volume in his articles on max boxing and even on the podcasts. I don't mind him discussing it on the show either, but there's no need to continuously repeat things that you've already said or written. Either way, people are still going to be able to read what the man is saying. I turned that show on hoping to listen to some talk about the fights and some other topics (which there was, but not to the extent I expected), but it's just because an angle of "me me me" with that guy. Whether it be any topic, he revolves it around himself, and it's definitely not just me who feels this way either. There's a whole load of others, too.

It may be irrelevant to this thread, but I'm not exactly going to make a thread on a guy I don't care about. It just seemed fit seeing as it was related.

Anyway, who gives a ****. My opinion is my opinion and there's no need to blow it up more than it has been by debating nothing.
