    This is true, Leonard could not beat Duran at his best, hence the rush for the rematch knowing Duran was partying it up. Duran is at fault for not showing up at his best for the most part, but the fact is when they were both at their best, Duran was better.

    Duran had no strength on the inside in New Orleans, Leonard could bully him. He couldn’t cut the ring.
    Disregard Leonard’s clowning and think about it, what makes more sense, that Duran was not in proper condition or Leonard has suddenly found his man strength in four months and transformed in to a dazzling welterweight Willie Pep?

    Prime Durán always beats Prime Leonard with no room of failure, 100 out of 100 times.
