I wouldnt go as far to say his chin is glass and I dont think I ever have used that term.

But to try to suggest he didnt have chin issues is beyond ridiculous...Fact is he was knocked out for the count in his pre-prime, post prime and even in his peak by fighters that should have not even been beating him let alone stopping him.

You can roll out all the excuse you want Robert, weight issues, he just gave up, lucky punch...etc etc.

He gets an A for just about everything else in his game..but the cheeen was his achilles chin.

Have you seen the Mahanaga footage?? To actually get through to the late rounds is a ****ing testament to his chin. I wont make excuses, nor do I need to. For a bloke with NO amateur experience, he was thrown in with, and pretty quickly took care of the classy fighters from around the country.

Your little world of perect records and listening to others negatives is a VERY New South Wales tradition. Hardly a clued up boxing brain amongst the place.

Perhaps you'll have a chat with Tony oneday. He'll set you straight.

Ah yes the old Victorian trait of living in a fantasy world and wearing rose coloured glasses

Can't hack any critique of anything they hold dear.. AFL, Melbourne etc.

I love how merely stating the facts of how Tony's record played out is suddenly dwelling on the negative and supposedly proves I'm not clued up.
When I gave him just about as big a rap as one can get by saying every other department of his game gets an A.

I'm only going on what I've seen with my own eyes and the literature that is there for all to see.

I have met Tony once briefly for what its worth..I thought about laying one on his chin to test it out but thought that would be rude. :D

I must have missed something?? You stated a fact on how Mundine's record played out? :huh

You should stop paying attention to Klompy.

If you'd like to send us Victorians back to where we came.... just remember it was NSW. The border, and Victoria only came into play after GOLD was discovered here. That being kept quiet until NSW was no longer governing us. You clowns were too busy dressing for your first Mardi Gras. :admin

Yep when I said Mundine was stopped by guys before he hit his prime, during it and after...and sometimes against guys he should not have been losing to let alone getting stopped by.

Thats exactly what happened...are you still trying to dispute this?

Yes, he was stopped during those three stages, but that is not a tragedy of any kind. I took the comment as if you meant it detrimental to his career. In which case you'd be off the mark. I'd pay no attention to Mahanga and begin my concerns after the Rodriguez bout.. or which concerns are limited to perhaps 2 stopages.

I think you should have a chat with Tony again. This time ask him about these stopages.

While your at it my eloquent friend..... You might ask Tony about the sparring session with Manni Vaka..... Mundine went all out and dropped an unsuspecting Manni..... who then dropped Mundine 3 times in one round before the session was called off.

The sports news the next day gave mention to Mundine's knockdown of Vaka.... but strangely...... no mention of Manni's reply.

Also..... Gotta take you to task for your comment of Tony having no Am experience..... I should know..... They were trying to line me up to fight him......but.... I wasn't that stupid:good

It wasn't a term used all that often with Tony Mundine....

The commonly used expression was tht he "lacked heart"..... that he was a tiger unleashed while he was on top..... but seemed to lose interest once hurt.

Rightly.... or wrongly.... that was the common perception at the time

I had been training for less than 3 months..... and Mundine was cutting a swathe through the Am ranks.... they couldn't find opponents willing to fight him....and some dumb**** put my name up for my first Am fight..

As for not having heart cocksucker...

Shortly after ... I enlisted and served in Vietnam....

You think it takes heart to stand in a ring with a Ref looking out for you and an opponent with padded gloves....

You wanna try crawling through a ****ing jungle seeking out an enemy whose sole purpose is to shoot you dead....

**** off dumb**** and stick sucking black ****.....It's what you are best at.
