You can add Tommy`s welter world title opposition because Cuevas hit harder than Griffith and Napoles and Leonard was so quick v Hagler, add Duran and Benitez because Duran did well v Hagler and a focused Wilfredo was so hard to catch with hard shots, how would a prime Monzon fare against those fighters at 160 and how would he have fared with all Tommy`s opponents 160 and above?

very hard to compare since many of his opponents would not fight Monzon the way Hearns did at the weights.

So Duran does away with Cuevas, yet Monzon doesn't???? This is one of the stupidest threads and posts I've ever experienced in this forum. Unbelievable.

You guys should forget about all that "fab 4" bullsh*t and learn about a far off, ancient bit of history (to you guys) like the 70's and the fighters of that decade.

I don't believe he said anything about any of them actually beating Monzon.

He's asking how Monzon would fare against all Hearns world title opponents.

Bear in mind this includes the likes of Hagler and i don't think many are going to feel that match is a foregone conclusion.

Monzon-Hagler is a far less foregone conclusion that Hearns-Monzon in my eyes. But that's just me.

Agreed ...Monzon Hagler is always going to to be a 50 - 50 fight imo .. someone argues it one way it can be argued equally the other way
theres not a ray of light that can seen in between the greatness of these 2 equals .. no matter how hard the monzon agenda driven haters want to believe it ..
