monzon v hagler

    carlos monzon and marvin hagler are two of the greatest middleweights of all time.

    but who would of won if they fought each other around the 76-77 time????

    That would have been so sweet. In 1976 - 77 I'll take Monzon by UD 15, he was a great fighter and had a ton of experience by that time. However if both men were in their primes which would be a 1982 - 85 Hagler I would have to take Marvin by either UD 15 or TKO 12 - 15.

    No matter what the year it would be a hard fought and exciting match.

    Monzon wins UD prime vs prime in my opinion... Monzon has almost no flaws, and he had a granite chin like Hagler.. due to his speed and size advantage, and straighter punches, I would have to say he would be the favorite ... but its like 60/40..

    either way, both men are ATGS and In my opinion the two best Middleweights of all time :thumbsup
