    You know what, you’re absolutely right, my bad, I should’ve looked at there height, for some reason I thought monzon was taller

    I think Monzon fought much better opponets,check em ouy. Carlos just a skill level above Hop

    Bhop looks clearly better on film to me. He wins a clear decision.

    I think he's overated too,his opposition hasn't been anything to shout about imo.Plus he was a cynical exploiter of the rules.

    I dont see it...not arguing I just dont see it. Neither man was a ball of fire TBH. I just dont see how he clearly looks better on film

    I pretty much agree with this. Hopkins had a way of upsetting peoples balance and had very good timing. Also Monzon, as good as he was wasn't the most balanced fighter, Hopkins would be able to pick off shots and disrupt the rhythm and build his own. He might even get a flash KD, but it'd be far from easy
    Of course there's always the possibility of a Monzon KD and he could've just dominated but I'd take Hopkins in a technical 12 round decision
