Who's the king of Argentine fisticanery? I know who the favorite will be, but any devil's advocates?

This could be a tough fight if it were the Roldan from the Hagler fight. Unless Roldan takes a thumb early, Monzon could be in for a long night.

The question is whose corner would Tito Lectoure be in? If he chooses to work Roldan's corner then Juan Roldan has to be favored. The night he faced Hagler, he could have gone 20 rounds easy.

Look at the brilliance of his head and body movement combined with his heavy fisted attack. I don't think Monzon would hold him off with just a jab and would have to do a lot of holding.

To tell you the truth, I don't know who would win this nail biter.

Whoever wins, I see this as being much tougher than the Valdez fights. Much tougher.

Roldan had power to hurt Monzon. I pick Monzon in a close one.

roldan was a wild and rough customer, but would win on points. too skilled and his chin would hold up under roldans power.

Yeah, remaining composed against Roldan was one of the keys to beating him, I think.
