He looked completely exhausted after four rounds! I think after a few warm up fights he can do just as well as Macklin up there. He could be in world title talks this time next year if he can just crack on and not let this loss effect him too much.

He shouldn't retire. I feel he has much still to offer IMO.

I dont think the weight is an issue to be honest, just the way that he lost it seemed to be a problem in my eyes. Looked quite fleshy the day before then ripped the day after :huh

Maybe he just lost too much 'water' in the last couple of days to make weight ???????

    Ryan well spotted

I mean I dont think the weight (ie. being at Middleweight) was an issue, simply just the way he 'got' to middleweight this time

Not very well explained I know

Moore would not be able to bully people at middle. The simple fact is that Moore has looked great against a certain level of opponent but actually fought a European level fighter last night and did not have what it takes. Moore can still have a great career but only domestically, put him in with Small next year and we have another great fight.

I think Small would be all wrong for Moore. If he is more comfortable at middle there would be some potentially money spinning and winnable fights for him. Duddy at MSG and i think the Americans would love Moores style.

Hope he posts soon and gives his thoughts on the fight and his future.

If he could of kept up that pace with Rhodes (which I believe he could if he wasn't so drained) then I think he would of won. i personally feel he after a few warm ups at middle to get his body used to fighting at that weight he'll be deadly. He's a very big light middle lets not forget.

Full credit to him for not making any excuses though. he took the loss like many others can't. A real man about it.

Moorsey will be good at Middleweight, if he is struggling he will have to go up... I think that there are so many times you can go to the well before it goes dry....

Moorsey has had a lot of wars and they catch up overtime.. I dont want to think that he has grown old overnight, definatly not...

But I get the feeling that they have left a bit of tghis fight in the gym, maybe not prepared as well as they coudl have done and really underestimated Rhodes.

I think that Rhodes savvy really showed through and Ryan mixed it up when he had to, moved, switched, boxed on the front and back foot when required and literally old manned him out of it...Moorsey was blowin at the end of the 4th and Ryan boxed his way to a great win...:good

Congratulations to both fighters on a great contest and Jamie Moore was so gratious in defeat, far play to him...:happy

moore gets busted up at middleweight. he needs to take allot of time off, change his body because he bulked up to much, and then come back

i think he is weak at the weight. in an interview last week he said how massive he was at the weight, and how he would have to move up to middleweight soon.

must have been tough for him. takes him SO long to get ranked, such hard work, and perhaps he never would have been able to make 154 if a title shot ever came.

my opinion - and i may be totally wrong - is that perhaps the illness cuaisng withdrawal for the Colas fight took his great momentum. Perhaps if he had been alright before the Colas fight (which he wasn't), he would have had that extra ring fitness, made the weight easier, etc.

let's have Middleweight Mooresy - more weight in them body shots, better strength, sharpness and fitness and drag some top 160-pounder to drown in the deep waters. Moore looked world class in the previous two fights, and when you think matt Macklin is a top 6 middle on verge of world title, then Jamie Moore can do it too.

treckon he would be beter physiucally up at 160, and could use his underrated skills. he can be very sharp, jabs and crosses well, has lefty advantage and a surgical array of power shots. i believe JM has the tools to do it.
