At LHW Michael Moorer was a very big boxer puncher with good hand speed. Bivol is an all round really good in n out fighter with quick hands, feet, and decent power. I’d go with Bivol on points with a high chance of him being stopped. Who takes it?

Moorer was a big LHW. im tempted to say Bivol but Moorer did decent at HW and never really struggled at LHW so despite the fact that Moorer didn't really beat anybody of note it's probably because nobody was really around. He was probably a force in the ring and all his fights ended in KO at LHW
    His highlights were insane

Based on the eyetest he looks like an absolute monster compared to Beterbiev but looks can be deceiving i guess.

Bivol. Moorer just didn’t produce the evidence that he could beat someone that good at 175.

He beat Bert Cooper at heavyweight. A fit and motivated Cooper who had had time to prepare (whether he did or not is another matter) rather than the 'six day sub on a coke binge' who had given Evander Holyfield hell. That is impressive.

I know Moorer himself was much bigger (well, heavier) but I'm not sure if the extra weight was improving him in any way. Moorer was fitter, leaner, more nasty at LHW. Put it this way. I think I'd rather **** the HW version of Moorer off than the LHW.

There weren't the guys there to test him at 175 and, as a hard hitting southpaw, who'd have wanted to? But Moorer beat better heavyweights than Berbetiev has beaten LHWs and HW was not where we saw the best of Moorer. On resume, its Moorer for me. The eye test. Not even close. Moorer. Consistency at LHW - Berbetiev. No contest but presumably this pits Moorer somewhere between 1987 and end of 1989. I like him in that time frame.

Moorer was a 200lbs LHW. A boiled down HW with a mean streak and a deep spite of @MR_TUT.
What will determine the fights outcome is whether AB likes Wendys or not.

Moorer had a worse resume at 175 than Bivol and showed more vulnerability. He was bulked up for Cooper and had a rough time, so I wouldn't put too much on it. It would be the toughest fight for either at 175 compared to resume, but Bivol's prime exists there.
